Since I began teaching college in 2001, I have taught a wide variety of undergraduate courses in literature, cultural studies, film, women’s and gender studies, and writing—in face-to-face and online formats.
2009: I received the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Outstanding Graduate Teaching Assistant Award, a highly competitive honor that goes to two students annually.
March 2009: I was awarded “Professor of the Month” by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s chapter of Mortar Board, a Senior Honors Society.
