I currently serve as the Coordinator of eTeaching Resources for the Department of English at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I created and maintain an eTeaching Wiki (note: you must have a UNL Blackboard account and request to join the “English Online Teaching Resources” Organization to access this).
I also coordinate a series of eTeaching Brownbag Colloquium each semester. Last year’s topics included: Effective Online Discussion Strategies, eTools for Peer Review, and a Showcase of Current Instructors’ Online Course Designs.
This year’s colloquium are focused on issues of digital materials: teaching with them, understanding and teaching students about copyright and fair use, etc.
